Catania Card Holder - PDF Sewing Pattern with SVG file

This cute little card holder with fully lined zipper pocket is super quick and so fun to make!  Perfect when you need to whip up a quick gift! It's unisex and perfect for men or women alike. It can be made with the zipper pocket fully lined or without lining, and with or without clear ID card pocket. The perfect tiny wallet for your small bags and purses, or why not pocket?

The little Catania is such a fun sew, especially if you use the included SVG file and let your cutting machine do all the "hard" work. Perfect for cork fabric, vinyl, leather, faux leather, kraft paper and more!

This pattern includes an SVG cutting file.

This PDF sewing pattern comes with both inch and centimeter measurements.  

BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY This is an excellent pattern for the advanced beginner bagmaker, assuming basic sewing skills and preferably having installed a zipper before.

MEASUREMENTS

Finished size: ~3” (7.5cm) high and ~4 1/2" (11.5cm) wide.

SUPPLIES NEEDED

Fabric:

10” x 8” (25x20cm) - Exterior: Non directional vinyl, kraft paper fabric, faux leather, cork or similar, where the edges can be left raw. A 5 x 14” (13x36cm) long piece will also work.

9” x 4” (23x10cm) - Lining: Cotton fabric, only needed if you desire lining for your zipper pocket.

Notions:

1 - 5” (13cm) #3 Zipper (or longer): Should match the exterior.

(4 x 3” (10x8cm) Clear vinyl: 12- or 16-gauge are both suitable. Only if you’re making the version with an ID window.)

Rotary cutter, cutting mat and ruler.

Double sided tape: Preferably ⅛” (3mm) but ¼” (0.5cm) will work as well and how is shown in the pattern) or fabric glue.

Wonder clips.
