Adelaide Animal Card Holders - PDF Sewing Pattern with SVG file

The Adelaide Animal Card Holders PDF sewing pattern is an adorable trio of little wallets. Super quick and so much fun to make with two card pockets that also can keep your coins and cash secure. The trio consists of a pattern for a fox card holder, a panda card holder and an owl card holder. And with some imagination they can become hamsters, leopards and much more, see the photos for inspirations! 

These little card holders are such a fun sew, especially if you use the included SVG files and let your cutting machine do all the "hard" work. Perfect for cork fabric, vinyl, thin leather, faux leather, kraft paper and more! This PDF sewing pattern comes with both inch and centimeter measurements. 

BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY

This is a good pattern for the beginner bag maker assuming some patience cutting and sewing. 

MEASUREMENTS

~2 ¾" (7cm) high, ~4" (10cm) wide and ~½" (1cm) deep.

SUPPLIES NEEDED

Fabric:

 13x13” (33x33cm) - Vinyl: 

Vinyl, faux leather, cork or similar where the edges can be left raw for each card holder. 

Scraps in different colours for eyes and details.

Notions:

1 - Kam snap or snap button: 

For the “nose/beak” closure. If you use thick vinyl, a metal snap button might be needed due to thickness. 

Non-permanent marker: 

For making temporary marks, that can be removed with water, heat or similar. 

Glue 

A regular glue stick for paper works, it's for temporary hold but you can of course use proper fabric glue if you prefer. 

100/16 sturdy sewing machine needle (preferably a topstitch kind).

Rotary cutter, cutting mat and ruler (or a cutting machine that can handle SVG files).

Fabric clips.
