SUPPLIES NEEDED

Fabric:

½ yard (50cm) - Exterior: Cotton fabric, canvas, vinyl, faux leather or cork fabric (if your sewing machine doesn't like bulk, stick to a thinner fabric like cotton or canvas here).

½ yard (50cm) - Vinyl: Vinyl, faux leather, cork or other similar where edges can be left raw, for straps and bottom.

¾ yard” (75cm) - Lining: Cotton fabric.

Interfacing:

13” x 38” (33x100cm) - Foam interfacing: By Annie’s Soft & Stable, Pellon FlexFoam, Bosal In-R-Form or similar.

13” x 38” (33x100cm) Fusible web: Heat n’ Bond Lite, Vliesofix Bondaweb or similar, the kind you use for appliqué. Only needed if working with cotton exterior and non-fusible foam.

1 ¼ yard (120cm) - Thin fusible interfacing: Vilene G700 woven fusible, Pellon SF101 Shape-Flex or similar.

10” x 7” (25x20cm) - Heavy interfacing: Pellon Peltex 71, Fast 2 Fuse Heavy or similar very sturdy interfacing to stabilize the bottom. If you don’t have this at home, a piece of sturdy cardboard or even a thin plastic cutting board can be used.
