I order the pattern which arrived by return of order. The download is easy to follow with photos and as a first time ‘maker m’ the link to to utube was really clear & helpful. As suggested I read through the instructions (more than once). I decided to use it as a mat and I’m SO pleased with it. I’m going to bind the edges

Easy pattern to follow. I only made it as a potholder instead of a pillow. Instructions were easy to follow. It is a fun project to make.
I just ordered this but have not made the pattern yet, but I did read through the directions, which seem to be very easy to understand. The pictures are very helpful and she even includes an email to contact her if you have any issues. I saw one of these in a quilt store today during my "Shop Hop," and just had to find the pattern. That quilt shop holds classes to teach this pattern, but it is one hour one way, plus $45.00 for the class. I figured I would look on YouTube for tutorials, which I found several in bits and pieces, and they were very helpful. I felt for $5.00, it was worth buying the pattern too :)
I received the digital file, and the pattern is great! The sample pillow cover is just gorgeous! I love the step by step instructions with photos. You really do need to read it through a time or two to see what is going on, but once it clicks -yay! I’m looking forward to making this pattern!
